

ABOUT ALANNAH
Country artist Alannah McCready is making her mark in the music world with an authentic voice and a unique blend of modern country and mainstream pop.
Born and raised in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, McCready's journey to music stardom began in childhood, when her mother instilled in her a love of country music, particularly artists like Trisha Yearwood and Martina McBride.​ Alongside this passion for music, McCready also excelled in hockey, becoming a standout goalie and ultimately earning a full athletic scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
While McCready was contributing to two NCAA Women’s Hockey National Championships, her true calling for music began to pull her in a new direction.

After graduating, McCready took on a career in sports public relations for an NFL management company, but the pull of music remained strong. Realizing it was now or never, she made thebold decision to pursue her music career full-time and moved to Nashville, where she beganhoning her craft as a songwriter and performer. McCready played at notable venues likeWhiskey Jam, Tin Roof Nashville, and the Twelve Thirty Club, eventually opening for major country acts like Jordan Davis, Tyler Rich, Dan + Shay, Michael Ray, Collective Soul, and more.
With a fierce work ethic developed from her athletic background, McCready quickly made aname for herself in Nashville’s vibrant music scene. Her debut album, Love Hangover, followedby Ricochet Heart, marked the start of her musical journey, exploring themes of heartbreak andthe aftermath of tumultuous relationships. However, it was her 2022 EP Back to Me thatsolidified McCready’s evolution as an artist. The project reflected her growth, with songs that delve into self-love, healing, and empowerment.
Following her EP, McCready has had several single releases, including “Easy” and "I’m Just Fine". “I’m Just Fine” is a deeply personal reflection on McCready’s emotional journey throughstruggles, including a recent health scare. Written with Will Gittens, "I’m Just Fine" explores themes of resilience, vulnerability, and the complexity of masking inner pain. McCready shares,"This song started as a way to cope with my own experience and evolved into a message about how good people often face hardships they don’t deserve."
McCready continues to create music with raw and emotional themes, all while showcasing her unique ability to blend pop sounds and country storytelling.
Looking ahead, McCready is excited to release more music in 2026. As McCready reflects onher journey, she says, "Music has healed me so much. Writing and singing have helped me process things in my life, so I hope that it’s just as relatable for my fans."
